DAY BY DAY
Your journey, one considered day at a time.
- DAY 01
Arrive in Ubud
Meet your local host at Denpasar, transfer through the southern rice belt and settle into Ubud. The evening is free for a gentle first walk and an early dinner.
- DAY 02
Water temple, rice walk and cooking
Visit a water temple before the day crowds, walk a working rice landscape with a local guide and finish in a family kitchen for a hands-on Balinese lunch.
- DAY 03
Sidemen valley retreat
Travel east through small villages to Sidemen. Check into a valley retreat, then follow a farmer-led walk through rice terraces, irrigation channels and clove gardens.
- DAY 04
Coastal transfer to Canggu
Cross Bali to Canggu with a stop at a less-visited coastal temple. Arrive in time for sunset; the evening remains open for cafés, music or a quiet table by the sea.
- DAY 05
Fast boat to Gili Air
Take the morning fast boat to Gili Air. With no motor traffic, the afternoon is for cycling the island, swimming or finding a shaded beach café.
- DAY 06
Guided reef snorkelling
Boat out with a licensed crew for reef snorkelling, turtle habitat and underwater sculptures. Conditions decide the safest sites; reef-safe practice is briefed first.
- DAY 07
Free island day
A full unscheduled island day. Add a dive, yoga session or private boat only if you wish; your host can arrange it without crowding the day.
- DAY 08
Return to Bali
Return to Bali by fast boat and transfer to your final hotel. Keep the evening easy and repack for departure.
- DAY 09 · FINAL DAY
Departure
Private airport transfer timed to your onward flight. Late departures can add a spa or south-coast stop at extra cost.
WHY THIS ROUTE WORKS
Designed around time, not a checklist.
This route moves from Bali’s cultural interior to the quieter eastern valleys before the coast and Gili Air. That sequence keeps the first days active, avoids repeated cross-island drives and protects a final night on Bali before the flight home.
Fast boats are weather-led, so the island stay is never placed immediately before an international departure. If sea conditions change, the travel desk can rework the final nights without unravelling the whole journey.
SIGNATURE EXPERIENCES
The moments that give the journey its character.
Living water temples
Visit with a local host who explains purification customs, dress etiquette and the irrigation communities behind Bali’s rice landscapes.
Sidemen on foot
Follow village lanes, working terraces and family farms at a pace that leaves time for conversation rather than staged stops.
Reef day on Gili Air
A licensed crew selects sites for current visibility and sea state, with a briefing on reef-safe swimming and turtle distance.
An unscheduled island day
Keep one day deliberately open for diving, cycling, yoga or simply the beach—without turning rest into another checklist.

Availability check
We check the exact room, transport, guide and activities rather than confirming from an assumed allocation.
Written quotation
You receive the final per-person basis, room category, supplements, taxes, inclusions and supplier-specific terms.
Confirm
The booking is confirmed only after you accept the written terms and the required payment is received.
The travel desk checks current stays, transport and rooming before sharing a written per-person basis.
Unless an item appears in the included list, it remains outside the displayed starting price.
Single rooms, extra beds and child pricing depend on the selected property and passenger ages.
Changes, cancellation and disruption
Before payment, the quotation identifies each important supplier rule and the payment schedule. If you request a change, we first explain any fare difference or non-recoverable cost. If weather, access or operations affect the route, we prioritise safety and a meaningful alternative. Travel insurance remains the traveller’s responsibility.
Read booking principlesBEFORE YOU TRAVEL
Useful detail, stated honestly.
Entry
Indian passport holders should check Indonesia’s current visa-on-arrival/e-visa rules before ticketing; passport validity and onward travel evidence are commonly required.
Arrival
Denpasar is the practical gateway. Allow extra time around south Bali traffic and avoid tight connections after a fast-boat transfer.
Money & connectivity
Cards work widely in larger towns; carry small rupiah notes for villages and islands. An eSIM or airport SIM is useful for driver coordination.
Health & pace
Heat, uneven temple steps and boat motion are the main considerations. Tell us about mobility or seasickness needs before hotels are confirmed.
A practical packing shortlist
- Light temple layer or sarong
- Reef-safe sunscreen and dry bag
- Sandals plus grippy walking shoes
- Motion-sickness remedy if advised
- Small overnight bag for Gili Air
Entry rules, weather, access and supplier terms can change. We verify the current position for your dates before confirmation; this guide is planning context, not immigration or medical advice.
